Growing up, I often found myself comparing every aspect of my appearance with those around me. 
I guess it didn’t help much when I got teased for my thinning and odd hairline. Being an innately bubbly 
and cheerful person, I knew that I wanted to stand strong in who I am and how I show up. 

Having a strong, God–fearing, powerhouse of a mother inspires me everyday. I would watch my mother gracefully change her appearance with each wig 
and exude confidence. After playing around with her investments, I decided to make one of my own with 
my very first wig purchase when I was only 19 years 
old.

The feeling of putting that wig on and every other 
wig that I have worn since can only be explained as 
magic. I see my confidence, my courage, my strength all come center stage. I celebrate myself in all my forms. This journey to confidence lead to the birth 
of Babone.

After years of struggling with my own confidence, Babone is the confidence to be seen.
